Neighbor catty corner behind me had an apple tree. At the time, we had a large pine tree. Squirrels would pick the apples and come sit in the pine tree to eat them. Saucy the dog (who gave me my screen name) would bark at the squirrels until they dropped the apples and she’d eat the apples. Alas, both the tree (lightning) and the dog (cancer) are gone now. Current pup Moxie can only bark at the squirrels.
