Our very small RV has a carbon monoxide detector (and a smoke detector and a propane detector.
When I say small – it is a Chevy van commercially converted to RV. The bed takes up the rear 1/3 of it. Some idiot designed it so the carbon monoxide detector is over one side of the bed. All night long I have the darn light on it staring at me and keeping me awake.
The propane detector has to be low so it is under the bed when the bed is assembled (and I do mean assembled – not talking about making up the bed with pillows, sheets, etc), but if we are using it for a day trip or doing things with (for?) it at home we keep the bed unassembled – which most people who have this type of RV do all the time for the extra space that the bed takes up when assembled – we are constantly banging our ankles on the propane detector as it sticks out into the space just enough to be the way.

I don’t think that they ever played Hip-Hop on Pan-Am. The company went out of business in 1991
