and I think there was even a comic where she asked Phoebe if she’s ever seen mountains turn into valleys. I also think there’s a comic where Phoebe is pestering Marigold about if she’s really her best friend, and of course, Marigold reassures her she is, but I’m not sure if this just my brain playing tricks on me.
I started to wonder, Marigold clearly has lived long before Phoebe, and it’s likely that she’ll live long past Phoebe’s inevitable human death. So I wonder, would Phoebe just be a blip in Marigold’s life then? I imagine a sort of fan comic where Phoebe is in a hospital bed as an old woman and Marigold is beside her, or Marigold is standing at her grave, and it’s like, 4021, and there are flying cars and jetpacks and colonies on Mars, but Marigold is still the same.
It’s sort of sad, but bittersweet. A real “friends till the very end” moment. However, I wonder, Marigold is Phoebe’s best friend, but if Phoebe dies, what’s going to stop Marigold from meeting more and more humans, perhaps in a (desperate) attempt to spend more time with someone who is like Phoebe, but not really Phoebe.
In Superhero comics, there are stories about Wolverine, Superman, and maybe even Wonder Woman and Captain America who outlast their friends, thousands of years into the future. They’re sort of sad stories, but it’s sort of cool. If you’re more into literature, I’d liken it to the epilogue of Tuck Everlasting.
Now obviously, I know Phoebe and Her Unicorn is a comic strip and they won’t age, but it’s still an interesting idea, I think.

Well obviously they’re going to pirate the many Super Sentai installments not officially subbed, including the Movies and OVAs.
What? Good action and music to complement it. Especially Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. And especially, especially the movie Goseiger/Gokaiger movie.

There was once a comic about Marigold talking about how she’s seen civilizations rise and fall, here:
