Been there, done that

Doing that right now! Trying to eat my breakfast, read the comics and drink my coffee while a cat is on my lap! I’m just fortunate that it’s only the one, this time. LOL!

He forgot something to drink. Now what’s he going to do? Where’s Janis when he needs her?

Throw it outside, problem solved

Enjoy it while you can, Arlo. A cat’s life is far too brief.

Shorts, sandals, tube tops

Meh. A heating pad set on low under the cat’s favorite blanket does the trick.

As soon as I turn the TV on, that is the signal for my eldest cat to come running and jump into my lap.

Good thing Arlo has a cat nap-kin.

We have a gas fireplace, which we didn’t think about much when we bought this house, but it is now the official Warm Spot. Loved by all, except me.

I turn into a cat bed whenever and where ever I sit down. In winter it’s warming for them and for me.

Time to watch some college hoops, right Arlo?!

It’s not a proper sandwich without a cat on your lap, Especially if it’s a tuna sandwich. Or chicken salad. Our cats love a good chicken salad sandwich.

My cat does the same. This time of year he’s shedding. Adds a little extra flavor…yuck!

I’m surprised Luddie didn’t relieve him of the sandwich.

One of my cats is fond of sitting in front of my computer screen much to my dismay. I’ve tried to get him to sit in my lap, but he knows if he’s in the way he’ll get attention, good or bad. He’s learned to wait until I move the keyboard so he has more room to continue to be in my way. Cats, gotta love ’em.

Don’t let Luddie out of the house, Arlo, not good for the cat nor the local wildlife.

I had 3 cats a while back. Every day after I got home from work and laid down on the sofa, they would lay down on top of me. They each had their spot and when the phone rang or I said I had to go to the bathroom, they would get off me. I really miss them. The 2 I have now don’t get along well enough for them to both be on my lap at the same time.

My fur baby right now isn’t a lap cat, and I sure do miss that… When she does come close to snuggle I eat it UP! (And she often leaves because I get too excited about her being close.) :D

Cats don’t sit on your lap in warm weather?

I love Luddy the most of all comics cats.

Methinks the last of the cold weather has flown the coop here on coastal GA; now if we can only get rid of the pine pollen!
