My ex-wife’s grandmother could never stop talking and was always correcting others. Her husband’s last words were, “Can I just have a little peace?” My father-in-law and I used them to great effect around her. Good times.
Sometimes I think about what I’d say if I believed I had very little time left. Then I realize that thinking about it ahead of time is more morbid than helpful.
