Sounds like the motto on the Clan Badge of Clan Kerr: “Sero Sed Serio”, Late but in Earnest.

Better late than never, eh.

She’d be late to her own funeral. Not a bad idea.

Some people are dependably late.

Aunty isn’t too thoughtful of other people’s time. It would appear that she believes that no one else matters. Pretty disrespectful.

I left an hour ago.

I used to date a woman like that.

Luckily, she usually was worth the wait, unless I caught her in a really Bad Mood.
