It’s the thought that counts. (Or lack of.)

Two more words would ease the guilt. “Love, Cathy”. Duh.

Morning Susan Oooooh a new Apple laptop. I’m drooling. Morning lightenup bless your little ones. Afternoon / evening Mom! and Gretchen too. KFG was funny again last night—my funny bone has been tickled. Hello fellow Cathyites many that there are.

This is why I’ve got a separate address book for all the Christmas cards I send . . . anyone who’s as “dear” a friend to me (as Gerry supposedly is to Cathy) doesn’t get left off my list when I’m doing all my cards every year . . . therefore, I don’t have to feel guilty for not sending them one when they send me one.

AaronClaus and Billy Kringle: Safe travels to you both!

lightenup: Hubby brought home the dog’s Christmas toys yesterday so that has me officially done and ready to go!

Susan: Lucky you! Wish I could get a new laptop! But since my 4-year-old one still works (although very slowly), there’s no replacing it just yet.

Good afternoon to the 4 of you, K.F.G., Nancy, rgcviper, gmforde, MaiTai, lindz.coop and all the rest of the Cathy fanatics joining us here today. As always, good to “see” you all. Only 2 more shopping days left until Christmas . . . !

Ahhhhhh. Home for the holidays. I like Aaron’s idea of how Cathy should finish off her generic greeting of 4 words. Best regards for the more formal ones maybe, but definitely “Love, Cathy” makes it warmer. Go figure a guy telling a gal how to be warm. :-D

Mom’s kitchen smells of spices and cookies. Little Muttley Beagle was able to contain his excitement this time, so Aaron’s sneakers are noticably yak free. He lived up to his bullet reputation and raced to the front door when we arrived.

Hello all Cathyites. We hope you’re all well. :-)

MOM! tell Billy Kringle to stop picking on me. He wrote my name in Elmer’s glue (which really ticks off Elmer by the way) on a bib and then sprinkled it with red and green glittler. I missed my mouth only once at dinner and I managed an amazing catch, much to Little Muttley Beagles dismay.

Now boys, be nice. I know Billy is excited about being home and it’s almost Christmas, but making Aaron a bib?? You know, Santa is watching and can easily take some toys off the sleigh. I’m sure the reindeer will be happy to drag around less stuff anyway. Santa has missed a couple of Weight Watchers meetings and Mrs. Claus’s cookies have gone straight to that jelly belly, so if they can save on toy weight, that’s fine too.

Hi Cathy nuts!! I went thru this very same thing with the cards last week. Then I got notes expressing the same sentiments — we all feel guilty for not having enough time to see everybody as often as we would like.
