I don’t think it’s just men. Everyone seems to want to “one up” everyone else. “Mine is worse/bigger/better/etc.” Seriously, why can’t anyone just accurately describe what’s going on? lightenup: Glad to see your meeting last night went better than you expected. I know how you feel when it comes to being better at writing than public speaking because I’m the exact same way . . . but it sounds as though you did just fine! The more confident, knowledgeable and forceful you are/sound, the more likely people will be to side with you on the things that really matter most than they will with the blowhard bully who doesn’t seem to have a clue as to what he’s talking about. Maybe . . . eventually . . . he’ll get so mad at never getting his way on anything that he’ll simply quit and go away? Probably just a fantasy but you never know! ;-)
Just a short note to say ‘hi’ to everyone. I’m completely exhausted!! Worked for 16 hours on Sat., came home and was on call Sunday night, was called in and didn’t leave until 7am this morning, just woke up a few hours ago……I’ll check back later….
Friend Aaron and I must be atypical men. We don’t try to engage in the flu playoffs. (Irving, you dunce!) Mostly we don’t get the flu.

Ok no offense to the men here (they know who they are), but some men are babies when they’re sick! My ex-bf was, he’d call in sick to work when he had a cold….me, I’d just go by the pharmacy before going down to the ER, duh….isn’t that why I went to med school, to get free drugs???….j/k….hee hee
