    The younger set have different knowledge than we geezers do, but they don’t know more. None of us have the same knowledge, and that makes all people interesting.

    I suspect they know much less. Having a world of information at your fingertips does not make for retention.

    It all depends on how you use it. Knowledge means nothing if you don’t apply it. It takes common sense to make it in this world, and that’s something that’s in short supply these days.

    Parents know lotsa stuff, but often have forgotten the Schoolbook contents….

    The more there is to learn, the more you should know. Our parents didn’t have much to learn, so…do the math.
