I once wrote, produced and directed a radio play meant to be broadcast live onstage. A week before the performance the broadcast part of the deal fell through. I could NOT get the venue to take down the sign promoting the broadcast. The eight of us put on an hour radio play, after weeks of rehearsal, to a house of twenty people. Many folks had decided to “hear the broadcast at home”, which never happened. That was my last attempt at radio production and emulating Orson Welles. :)
