I stood at the top of an Olympic ski jump once and looked down. There is no way in this world that I would ever go down one of those things. I’ll skydive. I’ll bungee jump, but not that.

Yeah, this is about as “Close to Home” as you can get.

Pretty safe, there. Last time I saw a stair lift – it moved slower than a motorized scooter with a wheel missing…

And he smacks his face to the floor when the stair-matic gets to the bottom.

my husband’s sister had a “stair-matic” installed for her husband but it never went that fast; all of us would have been taking a ride on it!

In less time than you’d think, Dave will be needing the Stair-Matic for it’s intended purpose.

Ha! Those things are set (by government fiat, of course) to go so slow that you’re younger by a day by the time it gets to the bottom. However, going up, you lose your extra day.

I hope his has good health insurance.
