Greenpeace would be proud of Alex. This girl always had a keen intelligence.

Alex is the only person in this strip who has her priorities, values and hopes clear in her mind. Don’t go dissing those fairy princesses, Popsicle, or you will be Pop-suckle in an instant.

Reminds me of my five year old granddaughter…She’s trying to decide between growing up to be a brain surgeon…or Mother Goose….

“Save the Manatee” bath beads?!? It’s funny, but is it because there actually was such a product, or because it satirizes what could have been?

This seems really strange having a Xmas story during Easter. Although, there is evidence that Dec.25th was not the true date for Xmas. Xmas in April is probably way too early, whereas August or September is a more likely scenario. One date span suggests Aug.22nd (my b’day) to Sept.23rd.

Don’t soak too long in your perfumed bath Alex, or your Princess parts will suffer.

It’s not about smelling like a fairy princess. It’s about saving the manatees. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

It would have been fun if today’s strip had been published just a couple Wednesdays ago on Manatee Appreciation Day.

Wasn’t the phrase “Babes with Brains” quite popular about this time? Seems to me the phrase started with Agent Scully, though for me, the effect started with Agent 99.
