My tax accountant asked me if I had any dealings with cryptocurrency. Apparently the IRS is wising up. I don’t know how they are going to audit it though.
I’ve debated getting into Bitcoin with a nice starter chunk of cash. But, can I just leave it in Coinbase like I do with Vanguard, et al and watch it grow (or, ugh, sink)? Or do I have to take an active role in it, a la, Day Trading?
