Part of the problem is that once you open a cosmetic, most stores won’t take it back, so it’s either throw it away or stick it in a drawer. However, I’ve found that Meijer will usually accept returns on just about anything.
This thrifty Scotts girl (me), does not waste money on anything! As for makeup… Love it! But I have only the basics that are my tried and true and of good quality.
In the last year, I think I’ve used eye makeup maybe three times. I don’t miss putting on makeup, but I miss the reason why I did so—going shopping in brick-and-mortar stores.

I could say that to just about every hobby I’ve ever had – especially the ones I have in storage.

I was told that those who make cloth dolls use cosmetics to decorate the faces. They shop the yard sales for the blush, eyebrow pencil, etc.

Cathy, my cosmetic drawer looks just like yours. I think they breed overnight.

I don’t even wear makeup, except for nail polish. Neither does my Sister in Law or my nieces.

Yeah … for a lot of women, I imagine most makeup has a “Sell by” date. Or at least a “Looked better one me before” date. Ha.
