I used to coach Peter’s age group (for far too many years). If I’d had kids who could kick that far, we would have been formidable. Even at third grade, I still had some butterfly chasers (and one kid who never was entirely sure which direction he was supposed to be running).
A veritable hailstorm of soccer balls rain down upon the Otterloop Van! Luckily, their noise is worse than any damage they might do. Alice is cool with it, while Petey has disappeared down into the deepest recesses of the van.
