The Big Picture by Lennie Peterson for March 28, 2021

This thread proves what I believed from the get go: Lennie is a multi-talented and dare I say: a renaissance man indeed.

In particular, today’s strip proves two axioms for success I always believed in:

1-Perseverence is extremely underrated. If you don’t succeed, just keep on trying. It is one of the keys to success, period.

2-It also helps immensely to have someone who is in position to help at the start of one’s career.

1 is a personal trait that is shared by all those who started from scratch (no pun intended) and succeeded in their endeavors. Lennie is a great example of that.2 is a ‘draw of the cards’, or ‘luck’. Lennie seems to have a combo of #1 and #2. Good for you, Lennie!

(I wish I have had a #2 in my life 40 or 50 years ago. My life would have been much easier than it turned out to be.)

Persistance pays. It shows that you are sincere about whatever the goal is and will stay with it.

Dammit, Lennie. These are great. Couldn’t you post some crappy strips to make this easier???!

Although I am still sad this is the closing arc, I find I am enjoying it just the same. Warrior Lennie is the hero we’ve all been waiting for ;)
