Guilty. Did that. Not the quality of Jason’s reading material, though.

What’s Jason supposed to be doing in class if he has read his textbooks well ahead of time before the school year is over?

Same here, they were going to dump me in middle school, then decided to dump me in high school!

Even so I was way above the average high schooler in math and physics.

Problem was I was so much younger than the average student that I didn’t fit in in the “social” strata of school dynamics so I was basically miserable the whole time!

Glad to get out and go to college!

Any kid holding their book in front of them is hiding something. But only Jason would be reading more educational material then an out of date text book.

True, the Am J of Physics lacks an advice column, the hallmark of real magazines.

My father almost got into trouble for that — the teacher confiscated the book and started to read it out loud to the class. He managed to get through the first (very complicated) paragraph, then handed the book back without comment.

By the time I was in school, the good teachers didn’t care and the bad teachers didn’t notice.

He’s very smart, but can that skill be transferred to teaching? Not so sure…..

Long, long before Big Bang Theory or Young Sheldon.
