I was curious so, in case anyone else is, the following is from Google: “Dreamt and dreamed are both past tense forms of dream. Dreamt is more common in Britain, while dreamed is more common in other English-speaking countries, including the U.S. Dreamed seems to be more popular than dreamt when talking about sleeping, but when dream has a hopeful, literary sense, dreamt might be used.”
When I was little, in my front yard were two trees (saplings, looking at old photos) that I swore I would be able to climb when I was old enough. I moved away when I was four. Taking a long ride one sunny day I drove past the old house. The trees were gone, replaced by shrubs. Darn! I was going to climb them!

This time, I’ve got 2 CdS related blog entries Richard posted 10 years ago. The first came a month earlier and included a panel from this strip:
http://richardspooralmanac.blogspot.com/2011/04/sneak-peek-into-future.html
and the other, though unrelated to it, came the day this strip was posted:

its pointed to article was also pointed to Thursday.

Dill… Dill… Dill…! You have to find yourself new female companionship; enough of this emasculation, already!

Forget Alice, Dill! Concentrate on your DilBros™️ tenderfoot badge. You have plenty of time to be dissed by girls in your teen years!

Dill’s Freak Show. What a great name for a band.

Yo, girl! Alice, fair is fair. You had a wonderful dream, and Dill interrupted your reverie. But you should not diss his dream moment, either!
There are no freakshows in the Cul de Sac!

Not to much to like about Alice. So self centered.

It might be happening, but it takes time. You just want it to “have happened.”
