I was curious so, in case anyone else is, the following is from Google: “Dreamt and dreamed are both past tense forms of dream. It might be happening, but it takes time. You just want it to “have happened.”

When I was little, in my front yard were two trees (saplings, looking at old photos) that I swore I would be able to climb when I was old enough. I moved away when I was four. Taking a long ride one sunny day I drove past the old house. The trees were gone, replaced by shrubs. Darn! I was going to climb them!
