Well, you’ve heard of “mini-me” from Austin Power’s movies, the Austin mini (car) and donut minis. So, why not a mini Adam or Adam mini?In fact, was it ever said what this doll is labelled as for sale?

They did this in Seinfeld with Costanza except that instead of him the doll looked like his mother

perhaps he’s plotting you own demise or worse, switching places with you. :D

I stand by my original statement that he should be thanking the creep that tried to profit by this (although I can’t imagine why). He could make a fortune in the law suit.
