This reminds me of my childhood when, as a child of 5 years or so, I woke early on a Sunday morning and went to the basement to light the natural gas water heater. I spotted a can of red enamel paint and thought the basement stairs should be painted. I opened the can, found a paintbrush and, starting from the top, painted the treads until the paint ran out. Then, apparently I climbed the steps to get out of the basement and went to tell my sleeping parents that I had a surprise for them. Boy, were they surprised!

There is a difference!
(Actually a pretty important one. As a general rule, soap and water won’t touch paint)
