That sneeze should be instrumental in pollination for a fresh patch.

spleen:

noun – (archaic, except in the set phrase “to vent one’s spleen”) A bad mood; spitefulness.

verb – (obsolete, transitive) To dislike.

It ia rather weird that you can live without a spleen. It’s major functions (screening out old or damaged blood cells, and removing bacteria and viruses) can be mostly taken over by other organs. I suppose you can think of it as an organ that lessens the load on the rest of the body.

I just remembered: In an early OTH strip, RJ gave himself the nickname “Spleen.” He dubbed Verne “Polyp.”
