A three day waiting period on tattoos is one waiting period I could live with. However, since I have no tattoos I really don’t have a vote.

considering some of the tattoos i have seen out there it is a good idea – at the very least your alcohol level should be checked

I think a waiting period should be instituted for the first tattoo, at least until the person sobers up.
