“Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.” – Winston Groom, author Forrest Gump
Don’t even look! I often walk the park trails near my house. Its amazing how many folks tie-up their dog poop only to discard the package in the grass as they leave the park.
Bags of dog started appearing right along the curb in front of my building. The woman in the store downstairs didn’t notice, even after stepping on a couple. It took months for me to catch the girl in the building next door drop one, then go to unlock her door. I tossed it at her feet, and told her if she couldn’t walk across the street to the public trash can, at least leave them in front of her own building. When I went out again half an hour later, it was back at the curb, right on the property line. I flung it at her door, the bag split, and left a streak down the door. And there was never a bag of dog at the curb again.

Why do I think this is more common than it should be?

People can be such idiots. You’re half way there if you’ve bagged it. Why leave it for someone else to dispose of?

“Well, there shoulda been a trash can there,” says the jerk whose dog hasn’t been trained either.
