Whenever I visit my doctor his nurse brings me to the examination room and takes my vitals. Weight, temperature, blood oxygen, and blood pressure. Then my doctor comes in and if he sees that my blood pressure is a bit high he takes my blood pressure again. Invariably his reading is lower. He chalks it up to “Doctor visit nerves” but I wonder if that would be the case if he had a male nurse. ;-)

My doctor never takes my BP. The nurse does.

Shouldn’t a doctor know that you should be sitting when having your blood pressure taken? I’m not sure I’d trust this doctor.

1. I have never had to disrobe when visiting my doctor. I get it as to why he is shown that way, so we know he is visiting his doctor, and not some perv with a sphygmomanometer.

2. I always figured Brutus as a tidy whitey sort of guy. Those red boxers, to me, imply confidence. Maybe he is gearing up to ask for, or rather, insist on a raise.

This doctor’s just makes him sick.

Would you expect anything different for Brutus. However, I hoped you are not being charged for the work the Doctor is doing on himself. Probably are though…..

You mean weekly proctological exam. Good grief.

He just needs to make sure the blue demon is working…

If your doctor is a hypochondriac, I would think he would be much more sympathetic to your health concerns.

Not something a patient wants to hear. Now if said he was doing a quality control check.

Y’all are missing it here! Just seeing Brutus stresses out the doctor so much, he must check his BP to make sure he doesn’t explode in exasperation.

And I notice that Brutus doesn’t understand, either.
