Not only do the snails require cooking before eating, but they need to spend a few days eating nothing but lettuce or your snails are going to taste like lawn-clippings, even after cooking. I’ve eaten snails before, and they weren’t prepared with lettuce meals first. Grass is not a good flavor.

And more than they would CARE to eat! UGH! (And just how filling IS a snail, anyway?) I’d say, offer some beer, but that would be problematic!
