Caption: Eventually, it came down to the two most prolific fertilizer collectors in all the realm. Having scoured the countryside for the prime poop, their harvest was brought to the center of stonehenge for the final tally on the Vernal Equinox. The one who brought forth the biggest pile fertilizer to the people was chosen to be the new leader. Thus, the template for the modern electoral process was born. Danae: You made that all up, didn't you, daddy... Ned: Only the part about stonehenge.

This is the first Non Sequitur strip that I ever saw, and I was hooked after that!

I cut out this strip the day it first ran. It’s still on my refrigerator today. It sums up my attitude about politics very nicely.
