Kid is just a rookie. He has to learn to warm his forehead by rubbing the blanket back and forth across it so it feels hot when mom puts her hand on it. Not too much of course. Just enough to convince her that he does indeed have a terrible fever and needs to stay home from school. Mind you, that scam only works so many times…..
