Fully agree. Fuzzy, feathered, and even finned friends are forever. In other words, they are for the span of their lifetime – and not until:a. they are getting “too old” to play withb. they are no longer a cute puppy/kitten/etc., or c. because they aren’t “trainable” (in other words the owner was too busy or had no time to properly train.) People do the research when buying a car, a house, looking for a job… they don’t think about doing the research about getting a pet. Sorry, I volunteer at a shelter and have seen these examples and more. I’ll be getting off my soap box now.
