The proof is in the lack of you being axe murdered.

…and you can’t close the bedroom door because that would cause a cat traffic jam. Whoever was on one side of the closed door would always want to be on the other side and you’d get no sleep….

Although, of course, you could also turn the brightness control down all the way to kill the picture…

Well, it must be working seeing as how you’re still alive, right?

We all know that the monster under the bed, grows up to be an ax murderer!

I can understand that one! I usually leave my radio on softly when my husband has to be away. It’s company of a sort. :)

And we all know there are axe murderers running all over the neighborhoods at night.

I absolutely understand! A light on in the front room is also a deterrent. Fortunately Midwestern ax murderers are rare. By the way, My “ope” is more of an “uop”. I didn’t even know I said it until I heard Charlie Berens.

With Ric and Toonces in the house, there is no way that anybody will break in the house.

I can relate. Took a long time before I was comfortable being alone. Even now I wake at every odd sound. The other night it was the worst sound EVER! The sound of the phone ringing at 3AM. NEVER a good thing….my friend had fallen and hit her head and bleeding profusely and was taken to the hospital. No sleep for me until late the next day. Thank goodness she’s slowly recovering now.
