Believe it or not, the editor wanted to cut out the part about the whale.

Antoine: Red light! Mr. Moby was a whale.

    Blaine: I bet he was….

How about “Toby Richard” or “Gobi Richard”?

    “Keith”?

IRL Melville partly based his story on an actual albino whale whom whalers often spotted in the 19th century off the coast of Mocha Island in Chile; he was nicknamed Mocha Dick: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mocha_Dick .

Moby Richard is second in a trilogy about three regular old ordinary guys. It comes after Moby Thomas and before Moby Harold.

‘Anatomy of a -————-’…. what the hell is the opposite of murder?

The fight between NY Rangers Brendan Smith #42 and the beast of Laviolette, Tom Wilson#43, seemed to be staged for Mary’s Apt. 42 role of her unwed father in #43 being tossed around like Jimmy Stewart dice.

Nice cursive. Correct for the time period. (Sorry for the youngsters that can’t read cursive anymore.)

It’s a good thing this is in GoComics’ world. CK’s censorbot objects to writing “Dick Tracy.” It would have had a conniption fit with this page.
