I always thought of them as a side dish

Kim was eating Skittles in Seattle on Doonesbury years before Marshawn Lynch was tossing them to the crowd during the 2014 Super Bowl parade.

Thus leading in to the “Candy, little girl?” comment Mike’s still likely too bad with women to make.

I went to night school for years. Many times dinner was M&Ms on the dashboard.

Seems like someone who’d be happy to accept a dinner invitation. Pretty much any place is more upscale than Skittles from the floor… Okay, I’ve eaten in a place or two that didn’t reach that standard.

Three-second rule….

I remember those times. Skittles were my brain spike of choice when I was reformatting and upgrading laptops or servers.

C’mon, Mike! She’s trying to get you on the floor! Well, that stuff the other day about missing cues.

Fruit flavored candies with a hard shell.

This is actually true of the time…I subsisted on M&Ms during the crunch time of a project in the 90s…

I believe that the favoured food for hackers of that period (before the term was perverted to mean “bad guys”) was spicy Szechuan, washed down with Jolt Cola.

Sounds like my daughter.. She is in the last semester or whatever of her master’s degree. Not enough hours in the day to work a full time job and do a master’s. Worth it in the long run, though.
