People of Earth: Look, you don't want to get vaccinated. Just keep your stupid diseased bodies on this planet, and we're good. Thanks! Citizens of the Universe
I like to ask where the 35 year old, engaged doctor, who postponed his wedding to work in his hospital, caught the virus & died from it, is, on the “herd immunity, let the weak die” scale? Was he a useless drag on society, so, he’s better off dead? Was he a weak & sickly individual, who was a different form of drag on the society & therefore, in their bent, confused, moronic opinion, better off dead?
“Earth: third planet of a minor star (Sol) in a backwater arm of its galaxy. Currently undergoing a viral pandemic to the dominant species, and planetary stress of climate change from overpopulation, pollution by product waste, and continued use of fossil fuels. While once a nice place to visit, but you wouldn’t want to live there, now considered an undesirable destination to any intelligent race. Current Rating: 0 (zero) Stars out of a possible 10.” From the newly revised “Citizens of the Universe Travel Guide.”
“Arthur awoke feeling wonderful, absolutely fabulous, refreshed, overjoyed to be home, bouncing with energy, hardly disappointed at all to discover that it was the middle of February.
“He almost danced to the fridge, found the three least hairy things in it, put them on a plate and watched them intently for two minutes. Since they made no attempt to move within that time he called them breakfast and ate them. Between them they killed a virulent space disease he’d picked up without knowing it in the Flargathon Gas Swamps a few days earlier, which otherwise would have killed off half the population of the Western Hemisphere, blinded the other half, and driven everyone else psychotic and sterile, so the Earth was lucky there.”

Early in the pandemic: “We should just open everything up and let herd immunity happen! Let the weak die!”
Now: “I refuse to get vaccinated! They can’t tell me what to do!”
No winning with idiots.

Maybe we could get Gort to enforce the vaccinations.

I feel like we’re one of those planets on Star Trek that the Federation has placed a warning beacon near stating to “stay away.”

It’s mostly either the internet or Karen’s that think they don’t work, when they do.

That’s something you don’t really see brought up in Sci-Fi. Pandemics would be interplanetary!

“Earth: mostly harmless.”

I hope the alien gets quarantined before entering home.

Those aliens seem to be new here. We’ve been fighting each other for thousands of years. They should not expect to be treated differently….

Dear people of earth, if you choose to get vaccinated, get vaccinated! What I choose to do should not affect you, so mind your own business!

With aliens with that attitude, may they suffer the fate of the Martians who invaded Earth in the War of the Worlds.
