Some interesting, but totally useless factoids about frog’s tongues:
A frog’s tongue is about 1/3 the length of its body. If our tongues were that long, we could lick our belly buttons.
A frog can stick out its tongue, grab an insect, and pull it back into its mouth in 0.07 seconds – five times faster than you can blink.
When it pulls the insect into its mouth, the insect experiences 12 Gs of force.
Once the insect is in its mouth, the frog uses its eyes to push the insect down its throat.
