How about the fact that most of the school is probably biased in her favor?

Max is smart sure, but does he know who said “Bang! Zoom! Right in the Kisser!”?

Also I tend to hide my insecurities by showing of bits of my collection so: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/203-cartoons-and-animation/79425512

Post 8-11 are my ahem Pastel Unicorn DVDs and Trades, plus an unrelated comic “Breaking Up”.

Post 13 and 14 are my complete physical collection of the comic strip thus far until September.

Max is a grade school boy, Phoebe, and you are a grade school girl. Just lean over and give him a kiss during the debate and it will short circuit his brain.

No, Phoebe, passion does NOT take the place of reason, knowledge and critical thought. In fact, it’s a dangerous substitute. And potentially embarrassing for you.

I thought everyone could pick up pencils with their feet, you mean they can’t? I used to be able to write with a pencil in my toes but injuries and arthritis prevents that now. Oh the talent I had!

Whatever Max was gonna tell you Phoebe you should write that down. It just like a diary of all the handsome boys you dated when you was in elementary school. And avoid the ones whose curiously between your legs (Sickos). And too much smooching. That where babies was made. The Birds and the Bees.
