That one event where the suspense is killing the presenter.

Allegedly, the majority of people at this school say they’re against Recess being five minutes longer. But when I ask around the teacher’s lounge I hear a different story.

Ka-SWIRLIES! Oh, wait, that’s the next strip on my list.

I feel sorry for Max too.

Unless he has a very good argument.

I have a feeling that we’re not going to see the debate. Just Phoebe talking to Marigold about what happened.

I wonder if this episode is autobiographical.

Wait until Phoebe gets assigned the anti five minute side to argue for.

The teacher lets Max use his phone in class? I guess that’s where his notes are.

I watched an improv comedy in which teens debated showers. The audience voted the anti-shower guy the winner. So Max has a chance.

What is Max texting on his phone? His older sibling or his great victory at his school? I sure they were gonna congradulate him witha foot to his ass when he get home.

I remember being part of a debate team in elementary school one year. The head of our debate team thought it was so obvious that we’d win that he did nothing but practice his winning speech. I tried to tell him that we needed to research the subject before the debate but he and the rest of the team were so sure we’d win that they all ignored me. When the debate happened they were caught off guard and didn’t know how to answer any of the points that were brought up. When the debate was reviewed I was the only person on our team that made a significant point, all the other points went to the opposing/ unpopular view.
