Most annoying city to try to get out of from the airport is Orlando, FL. City planners figure if you don’t know the way outta’ town you really don’t need to leave.
Have been trying to lessen my road annoyance by coming up with excuses for drivers who tailgate or cut me off. Maybe she’s driving her child to the ER? Maybe his boss said he’s fired if he is late one more time? I think it helps.
Do you think hikers ever experience “path wrath,” like when another hiker leaves trash beside the trail? Yes, yes, I know—only trailer trash would do that.
Be glad you don’t live in Massachusetts. The state is changing all the exit signs to align with the miles on the highways. So it is going to be confusing as anything.
Here in Chicagoland today I saw a roadblock in the shopping center parking lot! A large crane had been imported to put up new signage for a store that is coming in, and it blocked the entire drive in front of that store. Of course, the big parking lot offered plenty of other ways around….
Monty has remarkably good self-control today, I must admit….

Love the realism….if I’m not mistaken, Monty is in NJ, so he probably uses I-95 often.

The top elevation on the I-95 corridor in NJ is about 30 feet. There is nothing to overlook.

It took me a long time to recognize that “roid rage” referred to steroids, not hemorrhoids. (I could still see it being either.)

In Tennessee on Hwy 24 they might as well replace the “road construction” ahead signs with “Orange Barrels ahead – no work going on”
