My credit card company kept me on hold for an hour and a half and played an annoying 10-second techno “noise” that looped over and over only broken every 30 seconds by a voice telling me my call was important. PURE HELL on my end. Suffice it to say I was NOT in a good mood when they picked up.
Was on hold for about 2 hours waiting for a social security representative. When I finally got a person, she asked if I would also like back payments from when I was first eligible. I, of course, said yes, and got about $5000. Most money I ever made per hour.
Unless they’ve changed it, being on infinite hold when calling the IRS resulting in hear Swan Lake (which I used to like) over and over and over and over and over………….
