What’s a word for acting like a moron? “Moronacy?” That would be it.

I got the vaccine. I can go without a mask without lying.

Stupid is as stupid doesnt?

How about not wanting to be a big boy (or girl).

Simpler term: stupidity. Or we could get complicated: stupid lack of consideration for others.

I don’t see “inattention to detail” as a euphemism. It’s more specific than “stupidity.” Indeed, it happens often to brilliant people who get caught up in other details.
