I’m not quite an expert (other than having lived in that era), but that doesn’t look like a phone model from the 70s to me. I’d put it more in the 40s or 50s.
Maybe she can call the 1970s. I’m reminded of a Deep Space Nine episode in which a time anomaly allows our heroes — unknowingly at first — to communicate with someone who is actually 30 years in the past.

They were older girls than Agnes and Trout, and much cuter
