Dating? With the noise level in restaurants these days, you can’t even hear yourself. How could you bring a date? Worse trend in modern times is the hard surface, (glass, steel and concrete) design of a “nice” restaurant.

This was the strip in this arc that’s been stuck in my mind since it came out. I guess it just struck a chord with me…

I read an article yesterday about humans and booze. Microsoft has a room with a vast collection of premium Scotch. Coders who need a break can go there, sip an excellent Scotch, and chat with other coders.

It’s a way to recharge the brain for more coding.
