As an artist, if I hear “interesting” said about one of my works, I consider it the kiss of death.

Always fearing I will be repeating myself, I stay quiet.

Geez, just look at the time.

And let’s not even talk about “Bless your heart!”

Can’t hear about the Congo without thinking about the Belgian Congo’s bloody history. Not a shining moment for some “civilized” Europeans.
