Hard to believe that waxing a floor was even a thing….

It’s amazing that Mutt didn’t slide across the floor just because it’s waxed. By the way, don’t they have a welcome mat to absorb dirt?

Gonna have a sore back being bent that way.

There’s a line in the original novel Show Boat about a man being a two-legged animal who tracked up a freshly-cleaned floor.

For once I’m on Mrs. Mutt’s side.

Given I just washed and waxed my hardwood floors that are 45 years old, when my husband comes home I will make damn sure he takes his shoes off at the bench by the door where shoes are kept.

Now I do not wear a dress nor heels, I totally get her actions as being valued!
