Target stopping the sales of cards because a few lunatics had a fight in the parking lot is absurd. And no, Target [or any other retailer] can’t successfully be sued because of someone fighting in the parking lot, just because Target sold an item, that crazy people fight over. They aren’t responsible for the popularity of an item they sell.

In case you didn’t know, General Mills was giving away Pokémon cards and people started bootlegging them, which caused them to be pulled from shelves until further notice.
The sad truth of the matter is that none of those men were fans, rabid or otherwise. They simply want to scalp the cards on E-bay and other sites to people who desperately want them for some reason. One fellow bought 300 Happy Meals just to get McDonald’s Pokemon cards. McDonald’s had to limit Happy Meals to the kids, one per customer.
