Jaguars? Did Brady change teams again or is there a joke I’m missing?

The Pats do play the Jaguars on Jan. 2, 2022, but I believe the big game is with the Buccaneers on Oct. 3.

Hinds must have been in a big hurry for some reason when he submitted this day’s strip.

Pfft, what an amateur.

Brady plays for the Tampa Bay Bucs. And I don’t think interest will be that high to see Urban Meyer coach or Tim Tebow play tight end.

I wonder what museum they robbed to get those old black and white TVs?

How does a guy who draws a sports-themed comic strip for a living completely forget the name of Tom Brady’s current team? What’s next, a strip with Aaron Judge in a Brewers uniform?

wow. They definitely changed the name in the strip. I had it open on my page from 3 hours ago and it says “Jaguars” but when i went in at Noon to comment, the one that popped up there says “Bucs”.

Isn’t the fact that black and white TVs once existed the reason one of the teams, usually the visitor, has to wear white? College football, too.

And where would that bar get ANY b&w TVs, let alone a bank of them.

Being a late viewer, I wasn’t getting the team mistake references. So It looks like it was caught. Still, the bartender’s comment about b/w TV won’t have much effect on the HELMET LOGOS. This must have looked good on paper, before it was printed. Oh, well, long weekend started early I guess.

B&W won’t have much effect on the scoreboard or the post-game drama of who will say hi/shake hands with whom. Or not (eye roll)
