The power bill afterwards. Thankfully it’s not for us.

As a theatre professional, I’m loving this whole story arc! Without the tech staff, it’s just people standing around talking.

As someone who was a lighting tech in high school and college, I feel Charlotte’s passion!

Steenz absolutely worked theater tech in high school (or later) because this is how every lighting master I knew behaved, ha ha!

I spent many hours in the light booth, but can’t say I ever became emotionally attached to the equipment. (Have some horror stories about setting lights, but I try to forget those.)

And this is all in a MIDDLE SCHOOL? Why can’t comics choose a time period AND STICK TO IT.

While most of my theater time has been onstage, I did run the spotlight for our Old Fashioned Melodrama a few times and was amazed at how I could make the spot a character in itself, like lowering and shrinking guiltily when the Sheriff takes the audience to task for violating their oath to cheer the hear, boo the villain, sigh for the heroine, and keep their hands off the entertainers.
