Reminds me of an old Pearls Before Swine cartoon with Rat and a bull in a bar:

Bull: I’m going to Pamplona next week.

Rat: For the running of the bulls?

Bull: The trampling of the idiots.

For those who aren’t familiar with rodeos, bulldogging is jumping off a horse, grabbing a steer by the horns, and pulling it to the ground.

I believe the technique was invented by cowboy Bill Pickett. There is a rodeo tour named in his honor.Their championships were nationally televised for the first time last week.

I had a story record called “Roy Rodgers’ Rodeo” when I was little. It explained all the events.

“I object to that remark very strongly,” said the bulldog.
