I also have a collection of ancient storage devices, including a stainless steel magnetic tape from a Univac III in the original box. Too bad nobody will ever know what’s recorded on it.
12” monitors used to be HUGE. Trust me on this one. The TRS-80 might, indeed, be worth something someday. The day that the flying pigs drop the snowballs directly into Hell, probably.
Somewhere I have a Radio Shack promotional comic book that compares Superman’s mathematical computing power to a TSR-80. I pull it out every once in a while for a good chuckle.

The Trash 80 III didn’t have a seperate monitor (let alone color). And you didn’t need Hi-Res as it would only display ASCII characters. Still got mine, it’s over by the paper tape punch/reader.

Remember loading programs from a cassette tape? The first time I saved a few games onto a 5-inch floppy disk, I was amazed at the speed advantage…
