Who is John Edwards? How come the comics keep making references to things I don’t understand? I mean, even tho I’m Canadian I do have a general idea of US politics and social issues.

John Edwards was a presidential candidate (some years ago) until his affairs became public.

Also, Edwards was paying $400 for a haircut (no, I’m not kidding), so there are a lot of “hair jokes” about him too.
