Here is a reference post so people who choose to read about and discuss the history of Gasoline Alley can put their comments in replies. Those who don’t can bypass the discussion by leaving the replies closed. Fair for everyone, I think.
Yeah, because the two dumbest guys in town are definitely reliable sources for breaking news. You can certainly take whatever they say at face value. /s
Oh no. I am not sure how this will go for Joel. I am mildly hopeful, but it could go either way:
1. It could be that the reporters are of a more traditional, “newsy ilk” and will create some real journalism with the sagely Joel being given a more public voice. In my mind, this option would have the reporters be akin to the reporters we saw on the illustrious show, “Lou Grant” which portrayed strong journalism, strong story telling, and in-depth presentation of the facts.
or
2. These two reporters could be of the more “base/common ilk” that unfortunately has proliferated widely in some venues during the last 25 years…. and they will focus simply on sensationalism and creating a momentary “flash” for their benefit. In this scenario, Joel will likely be taken advantage of.
Whatever they are they are terrestrial, all powerful and won’t be caught or truly identified by the minds that can’t understand them. They can be any shape from looking like machines to looking like any kind of thing from a human being to a space monster.
The open minded ones who did figure it out stopped studying it because there was no more one could do. The ones that look alive cannot be caught nor killed. The bodies will melt away as do their craft that aren’t ships at all.

Well-timed, actually, as U.F.O.s – or at least government reports on ‘em – have been in the news lately. ✨

We shall have to see what transpires.
