Only time I’ve hit a dog — with a rolled up newspaper. Just after an afternoon of planting bulbs, I saw my Golden digging them up. She never did that again after her beating (loud, but no physical injury), instead focusing on ground squirrel dens, Give me credit for using the paper, please. Alas, she never brought me a ground squirrel.

We have a huge backyard and it slopes and dips. So there’s dirt/w rocks built up in different places that looks like buried bodies. ( maybe there are)
